For Robots that work in real world, some meanings that ground inner
model/world of them into the real world is crutial. Hyper Scooter,
which is a vision-based mobile robot, is not only built for research
purpose on personalization of mobile robots, but also developed as a
mobile test bed for research on grounding the robot's intelligence into
the real world by means of visual interaction between the human and the
robot.
